The Pinon Pine was found along the trail of the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is an awesome tree and probably my favorite tree found on our trip around the country in 2012. It was captured with an infrared camera and held on the ground in order to get the whole tree in the photo. Printed on paper hand coated with gold pigment.
